At ReliefWeb, we are deeply grateful for the global visitors who use our website everyday to access lifesaving, current information about humanitarian emergencies.

We are updating our technology to Drupal 9 in light of Drupal 7's decommissioning later this year. As such, by the end of March we will also be changing our log-in system exclusively to Humanitarian ID (HID), an authentication service managed by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

Users seeking to log into their ReliefWeb accounts will have to use a pre-existing HID log-in or register a new one. The new arrangement provides better user account management, in compliance with UN security standards.

If you are apprehensive about the change, fear not. We have updated the log-in page and FAQs to help with switching to HID.

We especially encourage users who need to post jobs and training advertisements to adopt an HID log-in at their earliest convenience so that we can provide support if needed.

To initiate the change, please click on "Log in with Humanitarian ID" on the Log in or Register page, as indicated below.

You will then be taken to HID's website. If you have problems, simply click on "Support" and then "FAQs".

After creating your account and trying to sign in with HID, if you encounter any issues or have questions that are not resolved by FAQs, please feel free to contact us at feedback@reliefweb.int.

We thank you for your continued collaboration and look forward to helping you with this switch.
